Five factors for exertion:
1. Good conviction, free from extreme skepticism
2. Of moderate strength and healthy
3. Neither fraudulent nor deceitful
4. He keeps his persistence aroused for abandoning unskillful mental qualities and taking on skillful mental qualities
5. He is discerning, endowed with discernment leading to the arising of the goal
