Five ways for a monk to be dismissed from a room:
1. If there is not much affection for his preceptor.
2. If there is not much faith in him toward his preceptor.
3. If there is not much sense of shame in him.
4. If there is not much respect for his preceptor.
5. If there is not much development under him.
(from Vinaya, Mahavagga 27.6)
