Australia and Oceania

Australia and Oceania (includes New Zealand and the islands surrounding the South Pacific) has relatively large populations of convert Buddhists, as well as a regular influx of immigration from Asia. About 1.8% of the total population of Australia and Oceania are Buddhist.
