Buddha Haus is a restored farm house in Germany that has been converted to a Theravada Buddhist temple and monastery. It is located in the Allgau Alps, approximately 130 km southwest of Munich.
The abbot and founder was Ven. Ayya Khema, who passed away in 1997. Today there are monastics continuing to spread the Dhamma with the offering of various meditation and Dhamma programs, including retreats.
