Helmuth von Glasenapp

Helmuth von Glasenapp (1891-1963) was an eminent West German Indologist. He taught at the University of Königsberg and occupied the indological chair of the University of Tübingen. Among his many scholarly publications are books on Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism and comparative religion.
